Amanda Lewis

A friend of Amanda’s assured her that if she tried yoga one time she would love it, so reluctantly she went to a soft flow class in the winter of 2005 and was completely enamored by the mental and physical attributes that yoga promised. She started practicing as often as she could and immediately noticed subtle changes in her body and mind. Hungry for more of a challenge she started practicing the primary series of Ashtanga yoga in Mysore classes and found a new passion. Adding one pose at a time she completed the primary series a year later and was excited to share the discipline of Ashtanga with others. She began her first teacher training program at the Yoga Shack in the fall of 2008 where she studied with Lynne Ramsey for a year and a half. Then furthered her education with Tim Miller at the Ashtanga Yoga Center in Encinitas, CA completing a 100 hour primary series program. She looks forward to completing the 2nd series program with Tim at AYC in 2012.
“Each day, yoga continues to humble, inspire, and teach me new things. I look forward to a lifetime of learning, teaching and sharing my love for yoga.”
